Be Good Monster is what happens when a lifelong habit of drawing weird little creatures turns into a real job. Hi, I’m Matt Wayne. I design and hand screen print every Be Good Monster t-shirt right here in Portland, Oregon. I also cut, coat, print, fold, and package just about everything you see. If there’s ink on it, chances are I put it there. What started as a hobby grew into a full-time creative business built on monsters, humor, and the belief that art should feel personal. I still love the hands-on process — the screens, the ink, the slightly messy studio moments. Most Saturdays you’ll find me at the Portland Saturday Market. Stop by, say hi, and let’s talk monsters.
